Early Career Data Scientist/Analyst
Are you an early career data scientist/analyst with strong bioinformatics affinity? This is an outstanding opportunity for a neurogeneticist/data scientist to work in the Global Parkinson’s Genetics Program. You will support data analysis and management for the Monogenic Data Analysis working group and have the opportunity to work in close collaboration with scientists within GP2 around the globe. Statistical Genetics – University of Tübingen
This position within the Centre for Genetic Epidemiology (CGE) will involve extensive engagement with partners nationally and internationally, and the candidate will lead monthly virtual meetings, prepare minutes, and will also be involved in project management. UCL’s Department of Clinical and Movement Neurosciences is looking for a Research Fellow to join the Wood Lab and work independently on a new project ‘Mapping the PD brain: Oligomer-driven functional genomics’, the objective of which is to provide a comprehensive mapping of the genetic factors and biological processes that cause α-synuclein driven Parkinson’s disease (PD). Our results will redefine the textbooks by mapping the PD brain through α-synuclein oligomers, rather than through Lewy bodies.
